Exterior Painting Services

The duration of an exterior painting service in Boise, ID depends on several factors, including the size of your home, the amount of preparation required, the weather, and the specific materials we are painting. Generally, a standard-sized home takes anywhere from three to seven days to complete. During your free, same-day estimate, our team will assess your property and provide a detailed timeline. We prioritize working efficiently with our skilled in-house team to ensure minimal disruption to your daily life while delivering a high-quality finish that lasts.

Preparation is the most critical step for a lasting paint job, especially when considering the weather variations in our area. When you hire 1st Choice Painting LLC for your exterior painting service in Boise, ID, our process begins with a thorough power washing to remove dirt, mold, and mildew. We then scrape away any loose or peeling paint, sand rough edges to create a smooth surface, and caulk gaps and cracks to prevent moisture intrusion. Finally, we prime any bare wood or damaged areas before applying the topcoats. This meticulous preparation ensures optimal paint adhesion and longevity.

We expertly paint wood siding, fiber cement siding, engineered wood, and even previously painted vinyl or aluminum siding. We also paint exterior trim, doors, and other architectural features. We offer comprehensive siding and trim repair services as part of our exterior painting process. Before we apply any paint, it's essential that the underlying surfaces are sound.
